July – August 2014. Digne-les-Bains Lavender Festival (France)

From July 30 to August 6, 2014, Nizhny Novgorod Governorate Orchestra will participate in the 68th Lavender Festival, that annually takes place in the historical region of Provence, south east of France, city of Digne-les-Bains. Invitation to a holiday in French Alps was received by 24 ensembles from several European countries. Our orchestra is the only ensemble to represent Russia for the first time at the festival. At this time we’re preparing a show program for festival performances, consisting of popular foreign hits, 

light brass band pop music, as well as Russian folk songs beloved and recognized all over the world in an original adaptation. The concert program will be accompanied by the Orchestra show ballet.
