Meet-the-artist event with the Governor
On February 14th happened a meeting of the “Nizhny Novgorod Governorate Orchestra” ensemble with the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region – Valeriy Pavlinovich Shantsev.
Artists showed their everyday work to the governor. At the orchestra rehearsals in a relaxed atmosphere the artists had a chance to talk directly to the Head of region. They told him about the performance activities of ensemble, their achievements, shared artistic plans and discussed cultural life of Nizhny Novgorod region. A topic important to each citizen was discussed – 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Valeriy Pavlinovich has recalled his favourite songs of the wartime and performed them with musicians.
