«Our Victory Day»

The Nizhny Novgorod region took part in a large-scale action dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, initiated by the office of the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District.

🎵In Nizhny Novgorod, the great song, which became a symbol of Victory, was performed together by the soloists of the Nizhny Novgorod State Opera and Ballet Theater named after A.S. Pushkin Viktor Ryauzov, Tatyana Garkushova, Alexander Zubarenkov, soloists of the Nizhny Novgorod Governorate Orchestra Dmitry Zubarev, Tatyana Volkova, Dmitry Maresev, the Nizhny Novgorod Municipal Folk Song Ensemble “Lyubava”, the vocal group of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Volga District of the Russian National Guard troops. They were also joined by the participants of the show “Voice. Children “Daria Lebedeva and Egor Grigoriev, performers from the cover group” Jack Daniels Time ” Vladimir Toropygin and Andrey Panshin.

☝🏼At the beginning of the video, its participants noted the region’s contribution to the Great Victory. During the war years, a unique military-industrial complex of enterprises was created in the region. Almost all types of defenses were produced here – weapons and equipment for the ground forces, aviation and navy, explosives and jet fuel. The Krasnoye Sormovo plant supplied the front with more than 12 thousand T-34 tanks and 27 submarines. Every third domestic fighter was produced at the Gorky Aviation Plant. S. Ordzhonikidze. Gorky residents took an active part in donating blood for transfusion to wounded soldiers. In total, over 92 thousand liters of blood were sent to the front during the war years.

⭐ The Republic of Mordovia, the Republic of Mari El, the Udmurt Republic, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Samara Region, and the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the movement of “Our Victory Day”. The Nizhny Novgorod Region passes the baton to the Perm Territory.
